Chuck Noll passed away late tonight. He is the only coach in NFL history to win 4 Super Bowls. He did so with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1974-75, 1975-76, 1978-79, and 1979-80. He was also one of the coaches that Tony Dungy played for in his brief NFL playing career, that inspired Dungy to coach the way that he did for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1996-2001, and the Indianapolis Colts from 2002-2008.

The NBA Finals this year marks the first time since 1998 that the same two teams play each other back to back years. In 1997 and 1998 the Chicago Bulls beat the Utah Jazz in 6 games both years. Last year the Miami Heat beat the San Antonio Spurs in 7 games, The difference this year is that the Spurs have home court advantage, whereas the Heat had it last year.
The Stanley Cup Finals mark the first time since 1981 that New York and Los Angeles play each other in a championship game or series in any major sport. In 1981 the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the New York Yankees in 6 games. The last time it happened in the NBA was 1973, the New York Knicks beat the Los Angeles Lakers in 5 games.
