The 2003 IndyCar season was the last year for CART, before they became the Champ Car series. The 2003 CART series marked the only year that Paul Tracy won the Championship, it featured the first career wins for Sebastien Bourdais, and Ryan Hunter-Reay, and was also the only two wins for Michel Jourdain, and the last career win for Mario Dominguez.
