Today's featured race is the 2000 Silverstone 500 USA Challenge for the "American Le Mans Series." This is the only time the ALMS ran a race at the Silverstone Circuit in England. This was also the last time that the Schnitzer Motorsports BMW Team won overall in the ALMS Series. They won the race with drivers J.J. Lehto and Jorg Muller. This race was 2 hours 55 minutes.
