Today's featured race is the 2008 Daytona 500. This race marked the first time that the Gen 5 car, better know as the Car of Tomorrow was used for the "Great American Race." This race was 3:16 with 7 cautions for a total of 23 laps run under yellow. Kyle Busch dominated the race leading 86 of the 200 laps. However it was Ryan Newman followed by Kyle's older brother Kurt Busch leading a Penske 1-2 to the win, passing Tony Stewart on the last lap. This is the only time that Car Owner Roger Penske has won the Daytona 500 to date. Here is the full box score; http://racing-reference.info/race?s=9&series=W&id=2008-01.
