The 2002 NCAA Football began Thursday August 22nd. The regular season ended Saturday December 7th. The Bowl season began Tuesday December 17th with the New Orleans Bowl, and ended Friday January 3rd, 2003 with the Fiesta Bowl in Tempe Arizona. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2002_NCAA_Division_I-A_football_season.
